Robin + Logan: A September Wedding in Watch Hill
I know we’re all headlong into loving fall with the crisp days and the crunching leaves here in New England, but honestly, if any wedding could make you miss summer with a terrible ache, this beautiful summer day is the one.
This September day was one of those gifts–a day we all were warm in short sleeves instead of reaching for a jacket. It was one of the last possible days to have a beach wedding, and as it turned out, it was perhaps the most perfect day of the season for a beach wedding.
Robin and Logan were married at Watch Hill Chapel, just steps from Robin’s family home. After a simple and touching ceremony in the chapel, the two headed around the corner by convertible to their Misquamicut Club wedding reception on the beach. Perhaps my favorite beach wedding venue anywhere, Watch Hill’s Misquamicut Club has an elegant beach pavillion, perfect for an evening as crystal clear as this one.
After a delicious dinner, and seaside photos with family and friends, the crowd danced under the stars to the sounds of Sugar as the night fell on a beautiful wedding day.
Happy love, you two!
Anna
