Kristen + Tim, married in Scituate (slideshow)
This current string of glorious late summer days is blurring together, one after another, but this day stood out for me. This was a day filled with sentiment and tenderness, a day to recognize loss and to recognize the joy of love. Kristen and Tim blended their lives on a picture-perfect day near summer’s end, a day that for them is just the beginning.
Kristen and Tim’s ceremony and reception was filled with beautiful tributes and reminders of Kristen’s mother, who passed away seven years ago. Kristen carried a piece of her mother’s veil tied to her bouquet, and a locket with a photo from her mother on her own wedding day. And if you aren’t tearing up right now, you’re made of tougher stuff than me, because I am! The day was also filled with laughs, too–Tim’s sons join the new family, and the youngest son toasted them with a hopeful statement of his own that brought the house down—”I don’t want to be the youngest family member any more!”
Enjoy a peek into their special day, and join me in wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. And a rescheduled tropical honeymoon, since Hurricane Earl postponed theirs!
Happy love, Kristen and Tim!

Anna
