Jenna + Scott: Married in Fairfield County, CT
For most teachers, September is a busy rush of back-to-school night and getting to know your new students as you settle into a routine. But Jenna and Scott, both elementary school teachers, added one more thing to the mix: they had a spectacular September wedding in Stamford and Greenwich, CT!
Their teacher colleagues had tried to set them up, but it took Jenna and Scott just a little more time to figure it all out on their own. But as third grade teachers in the same school, it wasn’t long before they realized that 1 +1 absolutely does equal 2.
They chose the same church that Jenna’s parents had been married in 40 years earlier, while Scott’s own parish pastor came to marry them. After the ceremony, we took photos at the same park that their parents used for photographs, and even found the same sweet wooden bridge to recreate the photo.
Jenna was attended by dear friends and family members—one of her matrons of honor had delivered a daughter just days before the wedding!
Jenna’s gorgeous lace gown hails from her hometown of Woodbridge, CT, from Modern Trousseau. 
Scott got a little teary at first glimpse of his bride.
Their wedding was attended by a number of awestruck elementary schoolers as well.
And of course, these teachers had a yellow school bus from their district for transporting their loved ones!
The elegant silver and white decor was a perfect compliment to the white tented ceiling of the Hyatt Regency’s Sun Court.
One of my favorite moments, when my gracious bride is handed a camera to snap a family photo!
Heartfelt and extremely creative toasts were lots of fun.
The candy bar was a hit with all ages, including the custom chocolate frame candies! Candy bar by Sweet Darla’s.
Dances with Scott’s mom and Jenna’s dad were a sweet addition to the evening.
