Days 10 &11, in which we announce FOUR winners!

With just a few days left in the 12 Days of Joy, I’m very excited to introduce the prizes for days 10 and 11–a seat in one of three photography classes I’ll be holding this winter.

Of course, if I’ve drawn the names of someone who would rather have someone else take the photos, you can transfer it as a gift (we’ll provide a gift certificate) OR you may swap it for a complimentary digital file from your next session.

You’ll choose one of these three classes to be held in the Stonington/Mystic area, winter 2012.  We picked two numbers for each day, a total of four winners.

Here’s a little about the classes:

1) Taking Better Photos This one for everyone–from iPhone-graphers to DSLR-wielders–a great collection of tips and strategies for improving all your photos, from your Instagrams to your holiday card attempts. Plus, lots of great ideas about what to DO with your images–we’ll introduce you to fun products, great ways to share your images and creative ideas for making the most of your photo collection.

2) Photography Basics: An In-Depth Workshop  A comprehensive two-parter for those really wanting to dig in to learning their cameras and taking better photos–complete with a workbook, lessons on shooting in manual mode and a full image review.

3) Seeing the Light: A Guide to Illuminating Your Images For those who have a grasp (or a fingerhold) on the fundamentals, make your images sing with a close study of natural light in your photos.  Observe and plan for light,  consider how light interacts with the environment, and  learn where the light should fall when photographing your subjects.

So, lucky numbers 27, 345, 99 and 114, that’s you!  Jen Caplet, Jillian Casadei, Nancy Kaika and Bree Shirvell–we’ll be in touch with the details next week, so you have time to decide if you want to learn more about taking photos, or if you want to let me take them, and take home a complimentary digital file from a session in 2013. Our FINAL day of joy is the big one! A portrait session and print collection valued at more than $1000! We’ll be announcing it on Saturday, Dec. 15. All previous winners are still eligible to win, and all new entries will be accepted until 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

On December 15, I’ll announce the grand prize winner, a portrait session and album, valued at more than $1,000.
