Eileen + Jim: September at Saltwater Farm Vineyard
When you daydream about a beautiful mid-September wedding, this is the one you have in mind. A light late summer breeze, warm temperatures, sunshine and blue skies, scores of friends and family and a gorgeous coastal New England location! Eileen and Jim kicked the weekend off with a rehearsal dinner at Red 36 in Mystic, and then were married in Mystic and celebrated with a Stonington reception at Saltwater Farm Vineyard on this glorious day.
Eileen, mom and dad and her sisters and family all got ready at the family home in Groton Long Point, including the niece with the sweetest robe of all time.
Then Eileen and family headed to St. Patrick’s Church in Mystic for the ceremony.
And then to the vines!
After spending a few years in Japan, Eileen and Jim brought home some of the glass Japanese fishing floats they had collected.
Coastal Gourmet executed flawless cuisine and service, as usual!
Lawn games were the perfect accompaniment to a beautiful afternoon amidst the vines.
Eileen and Jim met at Providence College, plus it’s a family tradition, so the Friars were well represented at the wedding!
“I would walk 500 miles…” for their first dance, followed by parent dances.
Sisters!
And then, pretty much the best dance party I’ve ever seen at a wedding. LIMBO LOWER!
Gorgeous bistro lighting is an amazing addition to a Saltwater Farm Wedding.
Thank you to Daly of Daly Planning for the remarkable coordination all day long, and for cluing me in when she spotted the amazing harvest moon rising over the vineyard. It was glorious!
